Every two weeks the Webster Siggraph chapter hosts a "competition" (not really any winners or losers yet) for character design.  Every meeting a character is chosen and everyone is encouraged to design that character in any way they like.

The latest character to design is Cap'n Crunch.

I designed mine to look like a character from the TV series "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack".

"Overheard at Webster"

I am now the "illustrator" for the school newspaper The Journal, which means I get a space in the paper to do any sort of illustration I want.  I am doing a three panel strip about students at Webster University. 

The series is titled "Overheard at Webster"

Here is the first one:
